Acid Slurry/Labsa:
It is the main ingredient of most of the synthetic detergents. It was invented in Germany and introduced in India more than 60 years ago. Among detergents, commonly referred to as syndets, anionic-active types are the most important. Typical anionic detergents are alkylbenzenesulfonates. Two different varieties have been popularized, those with branched alkyl groups and those with linear alkyl groups. The former have been largely phased out because they are poorly biodegradable.
